Stay at the beautiful SoMos CaSa which has been purposefully created for families with children of ALL ages.
We will collect you from the airport on Saturday and welcome you to the CaSa
On Sunday we will prepare breakfast for all and the rest of the day is yours to explore or relax.
We will entertain the children during the week with culturally focused activities (and time to let loose!) while you enjoy the city, WFH (we have excellent wifi) or simply relax.
We have arranged your pickup and will bring you to the CaSa where a meal awaits.
Check in time is 3pm. If your flight arrives early we will work out somewhere for you to enjoy a meal or coffee until the CaSa is ready.
Today is yours to spend as a family.
We will provide a nourishing breakfast and then the day is yours to do as you choose...
Perhaps you'd enjoy a relaxing massage (we can bring therapists into the CaSa for you!)
Here are some other ideas for your day:
Head into Centro and watch a wedding in front of the Santa Domingo Church
Wander the Streets of Xochimilco and Jalatlaco taking in the vibrant street art
Take the children to Park Llano and enjoy some street food while the children play
Go to the Zocalo and take in the Sunday atmosphere (then head to Plaza de la Danza for a Nieve!)
Have lunch at a nearby restaurant with a playground (Mustekela or Capitan)
We will take the children on a walk through these beautiful districts - capturing photos as we go.
We will also stop at the Centro Cultural San Pablo in the center of town. There we will browse the museum, go to the library and give the kids some free time to get out some energy in the beautiful courtyard.
When we return to the CaSa we will create artwork inspired by the day.
After breakfast we will take the children to Teotitlan del Valle where they will participate in a fabric dyeing workshop.
Maria will teach them the traditional ways that fabric is colored using natural ingredients and chemical reactions.
Children will then dye their own fabric and while they wait for it to set they will visit a candle making workshop too!
Lunch is provided offsite.
We begin the day by making pinatas and a packed lunch.
The children will then be taken to Park Huayapam where we will enjoy playing some games, give the children some free time and of course have a lovely picnic.
We will start the day off with a cooking class with Rosa where we will make Memelas & Salsas and then Abby who will teach the children all about Cacao - and of course they'll make their own chocolates!
After we are done we will head to the Childrens museum where we will spend a couple of hours playing, crafting and learning.
A short walk away is Plaza de la Danza where we will stop for nieves before heading back to the CaSa.
After breakfast we will make packed lunches and head to the Balnearios of Etla where the kids will cool off and have a blast in the many pools for children of all ages. A perfect way to end the first week!
