SoMos Retreats is excited to introduce our newest concept: Womens Retreats*

As a busy Mother and Business owner I recognize that it's hard to slow down. We live in a world that asks so much of us (whether we are Solo, coupled, parents or Child free.)

After 5 years of successfully hosting Family Retreats I felt that it was time to lend my creativity and desire to support those who carry the mental load by hosting Womens Retreats.

These experiences will be for adults only, hosted in the SoMos CaSa. Our Womens Retreats are both luxurious and thoughtfully curated to maximise your enjoyment and of course to create community.

The Soul Reset Retreats leans into relaxation and restoration - giving you a chance to explore the healing nature of Oaxacan traditions whilst being nourished by daily massage and delicious locally sourced meals.

This is our Pilot Retreat offered at a special price in exchange for feedback before we go live with them later in 2027.

Children are not allowed on these events and the CaSa will be especially curated to reflect an elevated experience for our guests.

You will be met from the airport by your SoMos Guide and be brought to the CaSa.

Refreshments await.

We will show you to your room where a beautiful welcoming gift awaits.

Begin the day at your leisure, breakfast is available when you are ready.

Your massage therapist will arrive at 10am - you'll experience a traditional Limpia followed by a luxurious massage on the terrace.

Your guide will arrive at 3pm to bring you on an art stroll through the city - taken at your pace so you get to know your surroundings.

Return to the CaSa for a social circle with a Cacao starting at 7pm.

After breakfast we will head to the beautiful town of Teotitlan del Valle where you will learn about Natural dyes and their uses in handicrafts today.

Traditional methods are slow and labor intensive but vibrant and beautiful. You'll make your own dyed item which you can take home as a keepsake.

After this activity you will experience a traditional Temazcal in a 90 year old temazcal. You'll bathe in cacao and join in an ancient ceremony. Finally you'll enjoy a relaxing massage before heading back to the CaSa.

You will start the day with a yoga class held on the terrace overlooking the mountains.

Today you will meet with a 'curandera' (traditional healer) who will guide you through a powerful ceremony which restores and cleanses your bodies energy.

Your daily massage will further help you to relax.

End the day with dinner by candlelight in our beautiful dining room.

Enjoy some free time: your guide is available to take you wherever you feel like exploring. No need to navigate it alone. Perhaps you'd like to see Monte Alban, explore a market or simply stay at the CaSa and relax. The choice is yours.

Your massage can be taken in the morning or afternoon - as you wish.

Today you will visit a mountain community where we will take an easy stroll as we are taught about plants and their healing powers/uses in Oaxaca.

So much is lost through generations but here in Oaxaca there is a power and respect grounded in ancient remedies and knowledge. Today we will share in this.

We will enjoy a meal in the mountains before returning to the CaSa to enjoy your massage.
