At SoMos, we create elevated, all-ages retreats for families traveling on their own terms. 

Each experience is thoughtfully designed to honor both the needs of the parent and the child — because you deserve a vacation that is also a break from the decision making and multi-tasking of parenting. 

We think of ourselves as Bespoke Retreats — at an affordable cost.

We take care of the details so you can be fully present — whether you’re lounging in the hammock, connecting with new friends over tacos, or watching your kids thrive whilst being entertained by our wonderful nannies.

The SoMos CaSa has been curated with both parents and children in mind. We reserve our Terraza for adults where you can laze in the hammock or enjoy some time chatting with other guests. Each room has a balcony where you can relax and contemplate the beautiful view. 

Kids love our outdoor playroom with activities for all ages. When they need some down time they can relax in our comfy reading nook. 

Security is taken seriously at the CaSa. We have installed gates at the top of the stairs to prevent tumbles. Our kid friendly pool (with baby splash area) is surrounded by 6ft glass walls and secured with a hotel grade lock and self-closing mechanism. The pool is heated by solar panels so is a comfortable temperature (most of the time!)

The CaSa is located in a gated community in San Felipe del Agua. There is plenty to do close by or hop on the bus (or take a taxi) and be in Centro in 15 minutes. 

Our Chef will prepare you delicious meals with with Oaxacan staples and classics your children will enjoy. We use fresh, local ingredients wherever we can. Children are given plenty of fresh fruit and locally baked tortillas and quesillo for snacking.

Our Retreats were created by a SoLo Parent (SMC) for SoLo Parents. We are however welcome to all family structures. We leave it up to the first guest that books to state their community preference for the week. Please check below to see if the week you are interested in has a specific audience. If it says nothing then it's open to all and you are welcome to let us know who you'd like to join you!

SoMos Ethos

We believe in kindness, community, and supporting others - both locally and globally.

We donate clothing left behind to refugee shelters, contribute to local causes, and offer direct support to individuals in need of a boost.

We also support international organizations providing humanitarian aid to Palestinians—especially those impacted by ongoing conflict and displacement. These donations are made with care and in the spirit of compassion.
